vintage 2025
History in the making. This vintage has been the earliest on record for us at Lake Breeze.
We commenced harvest picking our chardonnay in the cool of the very early morning of January 29, specifically for the sparkling base for our Blanc de Blancs. The whites were all in early in February, with a considerably large crop off our Pecorino. So thankfully, we won't be at risk of selling out of stock this year.
Our old vine grenache [pictured here] was handpicked on March 3, nearly 3 weeks earlier than usual! We gathered as many family members as possible again this year, with the incentive being Marlene's morning tea!
Greg is really happy with the quality of the fruit coming in this year and we can expect some cracker wines to come out of 2025.
